2010 is just around the corner!!

My school's just celebrated the occasion with a workshop day filled with talks from paralympic atheletes and a fake torch relay for elementary kids. With all my school involvement, I was running from setting up equipment to the opening ceremonies to the trumpet fanfare for the relay to running workshops All while dealing with traditinal Vancouver weather (torential downpour, but with the added fun of string winds) Hectic, but amazing. The only thing I resent is not getting to hug the mascots. Quatchi walked right by me while I had to set up some speakers At least I had my Mukmuk plushie , that got passed around more then H1N1 in those 6 hours.

Oooh. I got to look after real torches from Torino and Vancouver Torch relays which doing morning setup by complete fluke. Somehow Hetalia refrences came up "I've got Matthew" and "Mine's useless and just eats pasta" were somewhere in there.

And I got to spend the afternoon with Donovan Tildesley, a blind paralympic swimmer with 3 records. He's a great storyteller, and jokes around so much. If you want to, you can see an amazing clip of him on RMR [link] He appears about 3 minutes in, but if you want to see a hoser mocking his country and making a fool of himself, watch the whole thing.

And to top it off, I won a Quatchi stuffie for my locker decor. Someone stole the Miga off my locker on friday though Make your own jerk.

I kinda doubt anyone can say no to this. You find out about stuff from your friends, who are into those things. I got into drawing, manga, and beenie babies thanks to my friends.

Duh. I tried Zoom for a while because of my friends (though I never liked it) liked it. Same with Death Note, though I got into that.

3) Did People ever used to make fun of you because you were different?

Pshaw, of course they did. When I was in elementary, it was party about looks, and partly because I had healthy snacks at break unlike them. High school, I'm not so sure if that's continuing behind my back or not. "the only white girl in advanced math" was kinda funny though and I won the gauss that year too

Sailor Moon~ I really forget how i got into this. I was never a die hard fan, but if it was on on sunday mornings I'd watch it. When you're little a show with super girls is awesome though i did find it lame they only had about 2 attacks each

Card Captors~ When I was little I though the only shows on TV were Arthur and The Magic School Bus. when I grew up a bit more, I thoug we only got PBS and Knowledge Network. Then I discovered YTV and the other 20 channels we had : But I didn't get teletoon which was where the show aired. I only caught one episode at a friend's house, i seemed cool, but I din't pursue it

Pokemon~ Fffft. I used to be so pro at drawing them in grade one. I had about 3 colouring books that I loved. cute animals with fancy powers? who doesn't like that stuff? I think I watched it until the end of jhoto and then it dropped off the tv radar

Power Rangers~ It was on Fox Kids, way before 4Kids took over and mauled various animes. I just watched it in between digimon gen 3 and fighting foodons, which were so much better in my opinion. Still, it wasn't that bad. I liked the arc with the crazy werewolf guy

Digimon~ Holy. THey were awesome. I came up with a digimon spoof with my friends, actually, two of them. Even after I stopped watching pokemon, I'd catch it on UPN11 on sunday mornings for the fourth gen stuff

Yu-Gi-Oh!~ =___= honestly, I never really liked it. It was too drawn out, like Naruto fights, where they just yell at each other and play a masive game of go fish I never understood. I didn't catch the pilot, so maybe that's why I didn't like it. I think I put up with 3 episodes with the damien kid before quitting it forever.

5) Have you ever acted like a snob just because you wanted to be with the "Popular Kids"?

I'm not sure really. I kinda hope I haven't, but I'm not sure. I don't think I ever openly mocked anyone to get in with a croud. When I switched schools and some of my old friends mocked one of my new ones I kinda had a falling out with them. I internalise most insults I come up with, I don't really have the guts to say it to someone's face.

6) Do you always wear original clothes and not whats "In"?

Ehhhh~ in elementary and gr.8 I didn't care at all and just wore sweats and a tshirt, But from gr9 onward I've become a bit more fashion consious. So I do fit in with the crowd somewhat, but I'm not a carbon copy aritsia girl. I hunt and peck a lot for stuff.

7) Do you always say words that don't make seance?

Elementary school was full of them. Now, the weirdest thing that comes out of my mouth are fatigue-distorted words and the occasional "aiiiiyaah"

Not really. Sorry. =____=;; It's just too random and weird. Ghosts I do have some kinda of superstition over, but not a real irrational fear of them. Somehow though, I'm completely terrified that when I open the lid to our garbage bin a racoon's gonna jump out and eat my face.

It really depends. I'm just a normal kid with a few too many random skills. Maybe a viral outbreak? Cough into your sleeveetc etc, (step 5 a must)

When i was little all the time. I made so many mary sues for about every show I watched it's shameful. I've laid off the mary sues now though, I barely really daydream about myself anymore, it's usually my OCs. As for dreams, I'm the normal me, but in slightly weird scenarios. Soem are actually so normal I get confused.
One made me tear up when I woke up.

11) If you could, would you destroy all the popular and preppy kids?

Hmm, if they're popular for the right reasons (awesome people) no way. THe preps and the ones who set off all the fire alarms at school, maybe. At least some for of torture.

12) If someone had the same shirt as you, would you throw it out?

Nah. Maybe I'd consider it if someone pointed it out, or just wear it on weekends

Yeah kinda, when I'm depressed or down I talk to my dog a lot

Noooes. I never found how that was fun. I played with dolls instead
I didn't talk to them either. I knew they were toys, I'd pretend they were whatever I needed them to be

I just found creating little rooms for them fun. I made a whole suite in the drawer under my bead once out of legos

?? I need to think. Xmen? nah. Theodore tugboat? I really have no idea, nothign comes to mind

Once or twice I kinda questioned it, but gr.9 brought hormones and the truth that I like me my guys

Not realy. He was okay, but I found out he wasn't real at a friends' party when I could see the silouette of a guy's head in the suit. I kinda ruined it for me.

Not really. I kinda always knew where to draw the line between reality and fiction, but I did love going there
