It makes me laugh that his colouring is identical to my USB stick xDD I didn't even try for that.OMFG O3O
This is one of the best job's I've done on an i-Tan or any other digital piece (okay okay I still love that other one on the bridge, with the crazy background, but back to this). This is probably the first clean sketch I've worked with in a while. I did a rough draft before xD(which I never
normally do, except for a mini stick figure versions), so linearting was a cinch. I still love the black lines
on this piece, but I decided to stay with the coloured line trend I've been keeping for everyone else.
Annd check out the cymbals! >w< omfgomfgomfgomfgomfgofmg I'm estatic about those <33333
So the Drum Kit was my ultimate bane for designs, until a comment dropped by !shikafangirl14
gave me an idea to start. And then it all kinda came together after staring at a drum diagram
. So, the two smaller toms became headphones, the floor tom and snare are wristbands, and the base drum makes up the shirt. Ohoo~ am I happy <3 (hi-hat is yet to exist because it's annoying and I hate drawing it on it's weird shoulder strap I made for it (but no, it hasn't been forgotten)).
Drum Kit (DK
) is kinda the emo/outcast of the band. He has trouble communicating with other instruments as he speaks only in rhythms (the others also use pitch). If you takes a look at percussion sheet music (it's in the background) it's really confusing to anyone who's used to normal treble/bass clef stuff. Closest he can get to any language is a really time consuming version of morse code, but he finds it kinda demeaning and tends to just hang out alone a lot, or occasionally with the Timpani. He also avoids people due to th fact that contact almost anywhere on his body produces sound, sometimes with brusing involved.
Emo devices (mallots, brushes, and sticks) stay in his stick bag
I'm working on A. Piano's lineart right now. I should be able to finish her some time after my socials final (: afterwords, I think I'll do the guitars and cello.
