Late night doodle of the Brass iTans, featuring redesigns of Trumpet and Trombone, as well as the new faces of French Horn and Tuba :la:

Trump has been revised into more of an egomaniacal douche with serious issues surrounding his size. Think cocky Justin Bieber type: in his mind everyone loves him, but despite his popularity lots of his friends still find him an annoying kid with no talent.

Tuba's extremely chill and is the quiet darkhorse of a group. In his own mind, he's the most important person out there, but he knows better from Trump's example that flaunting it. He wears his hair over his eyes so he can sleep or zone out while singing repetitive lines.

French Horn is effeminate beyond belief, and is pretty much made fun of it everyday. Thanks to that, he'll stumble on his lines sometimes. Trumpet in particular loves to mock him, though it might just be due to jealousy of French's gorgeous tone.

I just wanted to point out that French Horn's personality is quite right. In band class, we're playing a song that has a horn solo and when the director told him to play it on his own (there's backgrounds and such going on at the same time) he kept stumbling over rhythms. I tried to hold it in but I looked at my other colleagues in the trombone section and they already were trying to suppress giggles! ^_^; Even our director had to start laughing a bit. He eventually got it but horns are so easy to make fun of.

Well, we usually don't make fun of anyone (at least my section) to not be mean. It's just usually to be inappropiately funny most of time. I could tell you a lot of things said in the trombone section at my school that was not "appropiate" for school. Either dealing with us or other sections.

Let's just say that my band director (a flute player) likes the horns way better than us.

Aww you didn't mention anything on Trombone. D:

I love the deep meanings and stories behind each one of these characters c: and it's pretty cool how each of their outfits is a little different than all the others.

But I can't help but feel put off by the fact that they all look exactly alike.

Now I'm sure they all belong to the same family of instruments and they all might be used together all the time? But they all have the same colored everything and their hair has little length difference. I'd suggest you'd make them just a little more different in appearance.

But this is all the way from August so I'm sure you've done that by now. :I

Sorry >< his personality hasn't changed unlike trumpet's so I didn't bother to write him up.

Admittedly, you do have a point about how similar they look. I coloured them all with highlighters in this one, so they're colours are pretty much identical. I'll try to fix that up when I do digital

ugh i'll update it when i do a new ref, but basically very chill, happy guy who's happy to hang around the ends of the group but enjoys every moment he gets when at the centre. He gets along with pretty much everyone
