I feel like I should post some updates on my life, just to prove I'm not kidnapped or banned from the computer.

Monday:
Monday my family woke up early to catch the 7 am ferry to Victoria. You see, there's been a death in my circle. Yes. There's another family we're really close to, single mom and another teenager. We've known each other since I was 1, soin a way we're like adoptive brother-sister. His Grandfather passed away on April 20th, and the burial was on the 28th.
It was a casual service; a light lunch and then the burial. Cecil (the grandpa) was a war vet, so the was a Canada flag on the coffin and a wreath. It was a really beautiful ceremony. Everyone was fine until my dad played the last post. Lots of tears TT_______TT

don't worry guys, I'm fine now. I don't need a lot of comments say "OMG sorry ". It's in the past. i've had to do this before with my real grandpa.

Tuesday:
consisted of school and doing catch-up work. Also, ~fallariera and I finished our 2 by 4 contest entry (we didn't place in our class). The two of us made bar stools. Leo and Henry made a catapult, which was awsome O___O. We spent part of one class flinging ashfault outside the woodshop in the firelane. Peter actually caught a piece (but then his hand hurt >___>. Oter projuects included wine racks, another stool, boat models, step ladder, a slot machine (which is yet to be finished by Paul and Peter) and a failed Rubix Cube by curtis and Hugo. We told Curtis it wouldn't work, but did he listen? No.

Wednesday:
The Gr.8/9 track meet WE got out of our 1st, 3rd and 4th period classes to do the meet. Our tem (red) placed third. Green won because of their lung capacity and volume (bonus points were awared in screaming contests). i did get second in th 200m dash though . It was sorta obvious I wasn't gonna get first because I was running in the same heat as a member of the track team's A team (I is a B).
Then right after that was the track practice of doom. Half my team wasn't there, and Lori (other team member) was borroed so that the A team anchor could practice passing. turned out I had 200m sprint 100m walk conditioning. Then I got to do 6 sets of stairs with the guys. Beat half of them
Then Rey, our coach threw up at the end of practice. It was really funny, because he was off at the other end of the field when the assistant coach comes up to te team (on water break) and goes "anyone have water that Rey can drink?". We ask why of course. s sonn as he tells us, Wayneson and John sprint off to go see Rey puking in a sewer. John's a thrower, not a sprinter, so it was great to see him neck and neck with Wanyeson (Trackies will be the only ones who find this funny I believe).

Thursday:

Track meet
Meaning 2:30 early dismisal from English. Joseph snuck out with us to get away from Ms. Zellar.
I also got to try out my Paniers! They're bags that hang off the back of your bike. My parents bought them for me because tey were worried I'd kill my back biking with a backpack, a trumpet, and a tote bag to carry anything that couldn't fit in my sack.
The meet itself wasn't that special. We got first in our heat for the 4 by 100 and beat the A team's time though.
The rest of the 4 hours was spent playing cards with a bunch of Hongers from my school. I have no clue how many games of Big 2 and Slapjack we played. I was the only Caucasian (and like, half the time, the only girl) so we had a runnning gag about shouting "white people fail" or "caucasian fail". Don' worry, I started it.....
Then Rey got ticked at us and said that if we weren't gonna run we should just leave. The whole team left him to go to McDonalds then. Even though we have a junk food ban....

Friday:
Normal school day, followed by track practice.
EVERY FREAKING PERSON RODE MY BIKE!!! O_____O
I'm not kidding, at least 5 people took it for a lap around the track.
Then, swim club. Serious swim club. I hurt my shoulder somehow, so I got out of this morning's practice (w00t!), but It means I can't lift it at some angles.
